Good career luck is no different: if you systematically prepare for the opportunities that changes in the profession create, then you're in a much better position to recognize and respond to them. A lot of this is simply training yourself to be aware of the world around you, but with an eye toward circumstances that could benefit from what you know, or know how to do. It also helps to think through some basic approaches to monitoring your environment that will help you target opportunities that most closely align with your individual goals.
