Reed Elsevier http://www.reed-elsevier.com has confirmed what had been rumoured for some time: that Sir Crispin Davis will stand down in 2009 as its Chief Executive http://digbig.com/4xeks. The Executive Search firm MWM Consulting http://www.mwm-consulting.com has been retained to find a successor, with a number of internal executives mentioned as likely candidates. Sir Crispin has been in charge since 1999 and is widely recognised as having created strong growth throughout the company during his tenure.About this article
