The Associated Press http://www.ap.org has announced that its Mobile News Network native application for iPhone and iPod touch is now available as a free download http://www.itunes.com/appstore from the Apple App Store http://digbig.com/4xekx. The native application is a portal aimed at iPhone and iPod touch users who want to access a large number of news sources â more than 200 news publishers are available via the AP network. Following the download, iPhone users will be able to read news on the go, can browse full stories even when out of network reception, and will be able to view photos and videos without any delay. Via a âSend Reportâ facility users can report, first-hand, to AP news events that they witness, including sending photographs to the AP editors. More than 200 news publishers are available via the network and AP claims to offer the widest coverage of breaking news, sports, entertainment and business developments for mobile users.About this article
