It's a lucky few who enjoy returning to their jobs after a holiday break. Returning to a job in cold wet January is even worse. So it's no surprise that many people include looking for a new job as one of their New Year Resolutions, and job changes shoot through the roof in the first quarter. Looking for a job can be a job in itself, so it's important to maximise your time and target the right roles. How can you do this for knowledge and information work?

One way to build conference excitement and keep attendees abreast of happenings is through conference apps. While one app cannot meet the needs of all attendees, several apps used together help professionals stay connected at the conference and with clients back home.
Finding your passion

If you're anything like me, you're likely to have lots of things you do outside of work that you're passionate about and you really enjoy doing. But what about whilst you're at work? It is good to consider what it is that you enjoy doing so much that you will evangelise. For me, it has to be managing an intranet.
