It's essential that the people who manage information and strategy around it can work effectively with end-users, stakeholders, colleagues in IT and procurement, and report up to the executive level in meaningful ways.

When you deeply understand your own expertise in sources, technology and value and can appropriately leverage ownership or influence, you have the best chance of success - for you and for the business.
