However, this does not mean that the issue of whether and how to charge for news has gone away, or has been resolved. A new aspect to the paywall debate is that of video monetization, with publishers seemingly unsure of how to approach the issue and providers such as YouTube now considering charging up to $5 a month for access to certain channels.
