Abstract

As content and data licensing experts, information teams tend to be more involved with analytics projects when they involve third-party datasets.

Over the past two years, many teams have made data projects more successful by:

  • Proactively managing their existing portfolio of suppliers and relationships to incorporate data licensing
  • Educating themselves - and their stakeholders - about data sources, vetting, access and barriers
  • Building knowledge and confidence to provide solid advice on such aspects as data lakes, APIs, and other technology elements of data management and delivery.

Apply your data expertise to analytics

If this sounds like you, or if you aspire to join your peers in this group, don't miss this Community session. We'll be sharing experiences, good and bad, of applying your data expertise to the emerging world of analytics.

This is the slide deck and speaker notes from the Jinfo Community session "Internal & external data - inventories and resources for enabling analytics", which ran on 17th January 2018
