What’s inside

LinkedIn is an increasingly useful source of information on individuals and the organisations in which they work. Most people are aware of the ability to develop their own profile on LinkedIn: something akin to an online résumé. Less well known is that companies can now develop their own detailed profile on LinkedIn, present their products and services with testimonials from clients, advertise positions available and gain statistics on who is viewing their profile. Individuals wanting to find out about a company can therefore gain additional insights about the organisation and the people who work there to complement more traditional sources.
