Abstract
In continuing coverage of the dispute with Hewlett Packard, Autonomy’s founder Mike Lynch has rejected all the accusations that his management deliberately inflated the company’s pre-acquisition value, and has launched a website to bring the affair out into the open. But, with the Securities & Exchange Commission expected to require substantiation of HP’s allegations by year-end, one legal expert warns of the dangers of conducting such disputes in the glare of publicity.
