Is it time for a new current awareness platform?

A recent Jinfo Community session discussed the factors involved in deciding whether or not to switch to a new current awareness platform, and if one that covers every step in the pipeline really makes sense. Prior to the session, participants completed a survey asking about the types of sources they currently use and the relative importance of different factors in choosing a new platform. This article looks at some of those factors and highlights some of the feedback received from participants.

LexisNexis TraceIQ is an online tracing and investigation tool used for fraud prevention and detection and forms part of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, which is owned by RELX Group, a leading international publisher and information provider. Fraud investigations for insurance companies make up the largest user group of the product but it is also used by financial services firms and media organisations. In this mini review, Andrew Lucas takes a look at specific use-cases, pricing information and the competitive environment. A recent Jinfo Community session explored this topic and provided some specific steps you can take to actively engage in continuous improvement. Robin Neidorf, Jinfo's director of research, also presented specific actions that can be taken to improve your understanding of the elements of process improvement and the psychological barriers to change.
