Abstract
Jinfo has tested Dow Jones Factiva Smart Summary.
This new interface presents a new way of engaging with Factiva content, with prompting, summarising and highlighting of the most relevant articles. It also enables users to create tailor-made newsletters.
Smart Summary is a powerful tool which seems to be a relevant addition to the classic way of searching and using Factiva content. In this report we discuss our findings, strengths and limitations of the Factiva Smart Summary.
