Abstract

In-depth product review of Linex Systems, a one-stop, current awareness management tool for the legal, business and academic sector that aggregates, researches and delivers information and content. It monitors sources such as legal databases and top news sources. It can be tailored to outcomes or workflows, offers real-time updates and data & analytics.

This review:

  • Looks at the wide range of premium sources and content coverage. These consist of news, legal, government and business websites, top publishers including the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, NYSE and the New York Times, legislations and news. Legal sources include LexisNexis and Practical Law. Information managers can add their own sources, creating a customised library, and enhance the alerts and RSS feeds to be distributed to users.

  • Examines the search technology, user interactions and output capabilities, including source management, reports, alerts, administrator access, and customer support and training.

  • Looks at the development, growth and pricing as well as the product's competitors, including LexisNexis Publisher, Ozmosys and Manzama.
