Abstract

This market landscape gives an overview of seven research aggregation products of interest to investment banks:

Alpha Exchange
Alphametry
BlueMatrix
Electronic Research Interchange
ResearchPool
RSRCHX
Seed Alpha.

Product number seven, Seed Alpha, seeks to do something a little bit different, bringing a framework of compliance to an investment manager's existing universe of research products.

We provide a brief description of each product and a link to the product page, features specific to the upcoming Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II), an overview of the research universe, and the pricing model.

Sam's earlier article, "Changing information sources in investment banks - impact of MiFID II", will also be of interest and sets the scene for the changes coming into force in January 2018.
