Jinfo survey on developing an Information Centre of Excellence

Abstract
As part of Jinfo's Research Focus, "Creating an Information Centre of Excellence", we surveyed 54 respondents from a range of industries, locations, and organisation sizes.
We asked for their comments on three key strands of service: setting strategy, delivering expert services and enabling end-users.
The survey also covered areas such as alignment with core characteristics of Information Centres of Excellence, including being collaborative and tech-enabled; and then delved deeper into each of the four main areas to examine aspects such as relationships with stakeholders and partners in IT, divisional budget holders and others.
Finally we questioned respondents on success characteristics, from executive-ready communications to client management.
