We are starting to see longer days here in the Nordic hemisphere (I'm based in Denmark), and the January Community session on "Team demand and AI" was one of the most popular to date, with over 40 participants joining a lively discussion.

The conversation explored how AI is being integrated into daily work, and how information professionals can position themselves as trusted experts. We will publish the learnings soon.

This month we continue the discussion with a focus on "Team roles and AI" (26th February 2026), looking at staffing, skills and what the future holds for information teams. Register now.

Transforming knowledge management at BASF

Our new report, "How to develop a proprietary knowledge and information management platform", captures key learnings from our recent community session.

Stephen reflects on how a controlled "walled garden" approach, combined with carefully managed generative AI inputs, helps ensure quality, security and trust. Read the report now.

Following very positive feedback from attendees, Stephan Ballenweg, BASF Head of Knowledge Systems, will give a live and exclusive "BASF's knowledge platform demo" on 10th March – register now.

Rethinking IP licensing for AI use

IP licensing remains a key challenge as organisations seek to use external content within internal AI tools.

With fundamental shifts underway in how content is purchased and used, this topic will be explored further in March through two events:

  • an in-person, co-hosted event by the Financial Times and Jinfo in London, UK (watch this space for more details)

  • a dedicated Community session on "Licensed content and AI" (24th March 2026) – register now.

Access to community calls and all our resources are available with an annual Jinfo Subscription. Whether you have one yet or not, why not book a walk-through with us, to learn more about getting the most value?
