Digita http://www.digita.com/ has just issued the latest version of its personal tax software supporting 2008 tax returns in the UK. The new version supports new HM Revenue and Customs http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/ requirements for producing copy tax returns and includes Internet filing for personal, partnership and trust tax returns. It also provides the attachments needed to support capital gains tax calculations. It has additional functionality, particularly to help with foreign tax with automatic calculation of Foreign Tax Credit Relief and excluded income. It also provides Dual Residency and Non-UK Resident worksheets. Digita Personal Tax is a finalist in the LexisNexis http://lexisnexis.co.uk/ Best Tax Software awards, which will be announced on May 22nd in London. Digita has been a software finalist every year since the awards began in 2001 and has won the Best Tax Software award in 2003, 2006, and 2007.
