Another widget story comes from Experian http://www/experiangroup.com/ who have announced the launch of a widget that includes business information from their commercial database, BizSource. The widget, or graphical user interface (GUI) as we used to call it, provides a real-time display of Experian's business information. In launching the widget Alan Edgett, director of Strategy and Innovation for Experian's Business Information Services says, 'This groundbreaking tool is the first of its kind to link Web searching to a major business database, like Bizsource, in real time' http://digbig.com/4xaga. Those familiar with the BizCheck reports will find the same information in the widget. This includes a short business information summary and a simple credit rating system to show if a business has any identified problems, or not, using green, yellow, and red check marks.
