Abstract
In the latest FreePint development, a new option is now available for FreePint Subscription articles. Complementing the existing sharing and starring/saving options, FreePint Subscription articles are now printable, allowing you to share more easily with colleagues or to keep them in hard copy for future reference.
Item
Several FreePint Subscription customers have asked me for a version of articles that they can:
- Email to several colleagues at once
- Print and include in training packets or similar materials
- Store on local hard drives for ready-reference or later reading, when not online
... so we have just added a new feature: printable versions of FreePint Subscription articles.
Click the new "Printable version" link in the green "actions" box at the top of the article:
... and the article will be displayed cleanly on the page, including all images.
You can then easily print to paper or PDF, or save the individual article to a local drive to read and use when you're not connected to the web.
Remember that you can also:
- Share premium articles with your colleagues by clicking on the Share link
- Star and save articles for yourself for future reference
... and provide your feedback to us on what topics you'd like us to cover or features you'd like see, which is where the idea came from for printable versions of articles.
