Value, Creative Thinking and Creating Efficiencies

Robin NeidorfYou asked, we developed: more FreePint Webinars on a range of topics across a range of timezones.

The first session, "Strategic View on Value and Collection Management" was very well attended, and two more dates are available:

On the topic of "value", check out our bumper crop of published and planned resources in the latest Subscription Update:

  • Product reviews, including an in-depth review of Avention (formerly OneSource) and a Mini Review of WordAnalytics
  • Articles documenting active discussion amongst information managers on the components of value
  • A new chapter in product reviews specifically on value, in which our analysts consider the target product within the broader competitive landscape
  • Communities of Practice (in-person and via teleconference) throughout the summer, to further the discussion on how you can facilitate meaningful dialogue within your organisation about value.

Read the Subscription Update on the FreePint Blog.

I had the pleasure of meeting with many customers, contributors and friends of FreePint at the SLA Annual Conference in Vancouver, where we hosted a packed informal get-together. Thank you to everyone who came.

Whilst at the conference, I learned about a number of innovative new information providers, which you will soon see featured in our product reviews and Q&As. There's a lot of creative thinking out there about business models, fresh approaches to data collection and validation, and creating efficiencies in information-related workflow.

How can we make FreePint more valuable to you? Your comments and input really do give us direction (as with the webinars). Tell us what your information priorities are using our contact form.
