Essential Resources for Your Information Strategy

Robin NeidorfHave a few things on your desk demanding your attention? Yes, us too. That's why we have developed a few approaches to helping you keep up to speed on what we've published and produced to help with your information strategy:

  1. The twice-monthly Subscription Update lays out recent and upcoming resources in our FreePint Subscription Content, Community and Consulting. The most recent Subscription Update highlights analysis on a number of information management trends, current and upcoming FreePint Webinars (including free access to recorded sessions), and recent product reviews.

  2. The monthly PDF Subscription Update for Information Services Management is for you if you manage an information service or have responsibility for licensed content. This incorporates all content published in the information services management Topic Category and product reviews Topic Category. The current issue features our analysts' reviews of ScienceDirect Reference Modules, Avention, Corporate Affiliations and Precise MediaPlatform+.

  3. Periodic "FreePint for ..." Blog items give guidance based on a particular industry. The recent FreePint for Manufacturing focuses on two subjects our customers in manufacturing consistently tell us are top of mind: making information more visible in organisations, and deepening the value of information services while documenting and measuring that value. We have similar items for the legal industry, professional services, banking & finance, and information vendors, with one for pharmaceuticals coming shortly.

Some needs are more topical and short-term, and that's where the FreePint Topic Series can be helpful and strategic. Each Topic Series runs for a calendar quarter, and your free registration gets you a number of benefits:

  • Regular updates during the Topic Series about articles, reports, webinars, and Communities of Practice
  • Editorial commentary by our expert producers
  • A free report on the subject of the Topic Series.

We're just concluding Next-Generation Competitive Intelligence and are just launching What You Need to Know Your Customer (KYC). Coming later in 2014 is News, and Beyond, followed by Making Information Visible. Are these subjects important to information strategy in your organisation? Keep informed and engaged by clicking on the links for free registration.
