The crowdsourcing model is the basis of much web content, Andrew Lucas looks at the impact of crowdsourcing in the financial services sector. He considers the motivation for contributing data and how this impacts the quality of the service. The article also looks at examples of crowdsourced data providers, including Estimize and Owler.
