Abstract

Information teams now provide services and benefits to stakeholders in new ways and offer more customised services to users. Traditional library and information science courses have also adapted and evolved to meet the needs of employers. This article looks at the information professional's need to stay current with new technologies and master collaboration skills, and how continuous learning is required to remain relevant and valuable to the organisation.
