Abstract
The recent in-person event at the Financial Times, co-hosted by Jinfo, brought together representatives from both the information provider, and information manager communities.
During two discussion panels, participants from both the vendor and information acquisition sides explored how content licensing for AI is evolving.
The event created a valuable opportunity for dialogue on a rapidly emerging industry issue: how should licensed content be managed in the context of AI?
The discussions highlighted both the level of engagement across the market, and the degree of uncertainty that remains. As one participant summarised, the overall position is that “we haven’t worked it out yet”.
