Community deck - re-examining the role of premium content in current awareness
Jinfo Report
18th October 2018
Abstract
In this lively and interactive session we discuss the changing role for and relative importance of premium content in meeting the current awareness needs of today's organisations and users.
As this year's Jinfo current awareness research demonstrates, premium sources face increasing competitive pressure from all sides - whilst the marketplace leaders continue to lead, alternative products are nipping at their heels.
In this Community session, Jinfo analyst, Rebecca Gebhardt Brizi, will lead the discussions, complemented by thoughts from information professionals who are exploring alternatives to premium sources.
This is the slide deck and speaker notes from the Jinfo Community session "Re-examining the role of premium content in current awareness", which ran on 18th October 2018
