Smart organisations have policies, training and resources to guide appropriate use of copyrighted material. But how are workers actually implementing these policies? What happens on the desktop? FreePint is planning a research project around copyright policy and practice. We'll be implementing in two phases - first to identify what organisations are doing to set copyright policies; second to understand how workers are acting with regard to copyright. We'll be inviting the entire community to participate, starting in October. In the meantime, if you have suggestions or questions regarding the scope of research, we invite you to be in touch. Contact me at robin.neidorf@freepint.com, or submit your suggestions anonymously at http://www.vivavip.com/suggestionbox.html -Robin Robin Neidorf General Manager, FreePintAbout this article
