Using Yudo http://www.yudo.com/ you can publish any document online free of charge. Whatâs more the publication will have âpage turningâ capabilities and can be shared online. Any PDF can be uploaded onto the site and YUDO will email you once your document is ready to be published. The publication can be added to your own site or blog, it can be emailed or you can post it online to a portal. Yudo will host the publication free of charge. If you want to add branding or password protection to the documents you publish via Yudo the company provides commercial products to do this, although there is an assurance that there will be no pressure to use them. If you have no experience in creating PDF documents the site tells you how to do it and how to convert Word documents or other file formats to PDFs. This seems an excellent tool for information professionals to use: to enhance the quality of their research output by creating more professional looking documents that, depending on copyright and licensing arrangements, can be shared within the department or across the organisation.About this article
