Mini Review of Figshare
Jinfo Article
11th May 2016
Abstract
Online digital repository Figshare allows users to upload and share, for free, their research outputs, in any file format. In light of a future where researchers will increasingly have to make all of their data publicly available, reviewer Sophie Alexander outlines key advantages of using Figshare for the three user groups of researchers, publishers and institutions. She also looks at the technology and how it performs in the day-to-day management of research data.
