Item

We received a question from a customer about the improvements or additions we've made to the service in the last 12 months.

Jinfo responded:

We are constantly making incremental improvements to the site and service. In terms of content, over the last 12 months we have:

  • Added the "what's new and popular" section to the site, to provide a quick snapshot of latest Subscription content published, popular blog content, and the current Research Focus.
  • Changed the company name from FreePint to Jinfo - as a result of Subscriber feedback
  • Introduced market landscapes. In these reports we typically look at between 5 and 8 vendors and give an overview of the product, look at its key features and unique selling points, audience, plus other elements as relevant, such as geographical coverage, languages offered, pricing, Jinfo coverage...
  • Ensured that we run a Subscription article which includes highlights or learning points from every Webinar and every Community Session that we run so that Subscribers unable to attend can still benefit from practical outputs.
  • Reviewed and revised our product review guidelines so that the first article in the review (covering key advantages, introduction, contact details) can also stand alone as an executive summary.
  • Made additional enhancements to our product review guidelines so that we now include: key changes since the product was last reviewed; product maturity and development roadmap.
  • From January 2017 the entire product review in its PDF is being published at the same time as the first article in the review, ensuring readers can download or print the whole PDF as soon as the first part of the review is published
  • From January 2017 we are now flagging up the quarterly Research Focus for 12 months ahead rather than 6 months ahead, giving customers greater insight into our forward planning.
